Our commitment

We want people to be able to use this website regardless of disability, technology or method of access. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA and make reasonable adjustments where a person encounters a barrier.

What we have done

• provided keyboard-visible focus styles and a skip-to-content link;
• used semantic headings, labels and navigation landmarks;
• supported browser zoom and responsive layouts;
• avoided autoplaying media, flashing content and non-essential motion;
• provided text labels for form controls and clear error prevention instructions; and
• used descriptive link text and maintained colour contrast for core content.

Known limitations

We continue to review the site and do not claim that every page is free from accessibility issues in every browser or assistive technology combination. Some older page layouts may have lengthy reading order or decorative styling that is less efficient for screen magnification users.

If a document or item of information is not accessible to you, we can provide the same information in a reasonable alternative format.

Tell us about a barrier

Please use our contact form and start the notes field with “Accessibility request”. Tell us which page or content you need, the problem you encountered, and the format or adjustment that would help. Do not include patient-identifiable information.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests within two working days and provide a substantive response as soon as reasonably practicable.
